We are happy to announce that the ‘i.club Summer Program! 2017(iSP!2017) ’ will be held this summer. International students will join university students from Tokyo and local cities in Japan to study Innovation Education and, in partnership with local high-school students, will be challenged to create Innovation in local cities in Japan. The local cities for 2017 are as follows:

Iki City, Nagasaki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iki,_Nagasaki

Tono City, Iwate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C5%8Dno,_Iwate

Minami-Ashigara City, Kanagawa: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minamiashigara,_Kanagawa

During the program, students will experience cutting-edge Innovation Education, as well as the local cities’ unique cultures. The program aims to teach students the skill-sets required for innovation, allow them to experience mindsets that are conducive to innovation, and to help them find the motivation they need to create innovation in the future.

iSP!2017 offers participants both the chance for personal development through new experiences and the opportunity to make a difference to the future of local Japanese cities through the creation of ideas.
